Where It Started
I spent years in technology consulting - a world that was demanding, fast-moving, and overwhelmingly male. I was often the only woman in the room. Sometimes the youngest. Almost always the one who had to work twice as hard to be taken half as seriously.
What I discovered, somewhere between the early morning flights and the late night presentations, was that jewelry changed how I felt when I walked through the door. Not because of how it looked to others - but because of how it made me feel. Putting on a piece I loved was like putting on armor. It was a quiet signal to myself: I belong here. I’m ready. I’ve got this.
That feeling - that specific, physical sense of confidence - is what I wanted to bottle. It’s what I wanted every woman to have access to. Not as a luxury reserved for a few, but as something real and wearable and theirs.
So I built AVIR.

AVIR is a small, woman-founded brand based in New York City. Every piece is made to order - crafted specifically for you when you place your order, not pulled from a shelf. We don’t hold inventory because we don’t believe in mass production. We believe in making something right, for someone specific, with care.
That means your piece ships within 2-5 business days. It means our team personally oversees every order. And it means that when it arrives, you’re not opening a box that has sat in a warehouse - you’re opening something made for you.
We’re also proud to give back. Through our partnership with Charity: Water, 5% of every Charity: Water collection purchase goes directly toward bringing clean drinking water to communities around the world. Because a brand built on empowering women should do more than make beautiful things.
